‘Music of the Night’ performances to kick off Sept. 29

September 21, 2023

Alliance, an 18-voice ensemble of CAMP Rehoboth Chorus, is putting the finishing touches on “Music of the Night,” the final concert of the chorus’s expanded 2023 season.

Performances are set for 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Sept. 29 and 30, and 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 1, at Epworth United Methodist Church, 19285 Holland Glade Road, Rehoboth Beach.

Tickets are $25. To purchase, go to the events tab at camprehoboth.com.

CAMP Rehoboth Chorus Artistic Director Doug Yetter said, “The Alliance singers have put their heart and soul into ‘Music of the Night.’ We finished staging all 32 songs this week, and the band starts working with the singers over the weekend. The production team has created incredible graphics for the overhead screens and added Epworth’s new computerized system into the lighting design. “The show is going to look as beautiful as our new group sounds – a concert our audiences won’t want to miss.”

Among more than 30 musical selections are “Fly Me to the Moon,” “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “Dancin’ in the Moonlight,” “December 1963 (Oh What a Night),” “You Make Me Feel Like Dancin’,” “Moondance,” “Another Saturday Night,” “In the Still of the Night,” “Walkin’ After Midnight,” and the title tune, “Music of the Night.”

Yetter on keyboard leads a trio of musicians to accompany the concert. Technical wizardry is provided by Barry Bugg and Larry Rosen, the chorus’s skilled production managers.
