Allen Harim honors retirees, celebrates employees’ years of service

Allen Harim, a leading producer and processor of chicken on Delmarva, honored two retiring employees and 24 current employees celebrating milestone anniversaries at the second annual Allen Harim Service Awards and Retirement Dinner held at the Brick Hotel in Georgetown.

"We value loyalty, and we want to make sure our employees understand how grateful we are for their service," said Joe Moran, president and CEO of Allen Harim.

Donna Moore, who has been with the company for 31 years, retired in February. She spent the bulk of her career in the Live Operations department and later worked in Accounts Payable. Richard Kensinger retired after 12 years in the Information Technology department. Both were honored with a watch from the company and a certificate honoring their years of service.

More than 20 current employees were honored for milestone anniversaries, and they each received a personal gift from the company. They include James Brown, 45 years; Michael Murphy and Jose Borrero, 35 years; John Carter and Donald Frost, 30 years; Charitable Exantus, 25 years; Rebert Amisial, 20 years; James Cobb, Ramon Cortez, James Gordy, Mildred Martinez-Hernandez, Melissa Nazario, Archibald Pierre, Odette Pierre, Angela Salinas, Charlie Thomas and Kevin Wise, 15 years; and Thomas Allison, Roger Gonzales, William Jackson, Jessica Lane, Imelda Moreno, Pedro Nevarez and Baltazar Regaldo, 10 years.
