Author Gale Deitch to sign books at Browseabout April 20

Browseabout Books will host an author event with Gale Deitch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 20, at 133 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach.

Deitch will be signing copies of “A Fine Grain of Sand,” the fifth book in her Trudie Fine Mystery Series. “A Fine Grain of Sand” tells the story of a murder at a wedding in Rehoboth Beach. The series protagonist, Trudie Fine, is a quirky character who always gets into trouble trying to identify the real murderer, to the chagrin of her detective fiancé. Because Trudie is a caterer, recipes from the story are included in the back of each book.

Deitch, a member of the Rehoboth Beach Writers’ Guild, also writes short stories, flash fiction and poetry.
