Bay Forest breaks ground on second community clubhouse
The NVHomes at Bay Forest team held a groundbreaking event at the site of the second community clubhouse, pool and recreation barn. This second amenity complex will offer a second clubhouse for social gatherings along with pool and large pool deck, cabanas and bar. It is expected to be completed in 2018.
Bay Forest, comprising over 400 acres of forested woodlands and open meadows, is situated at the mouth of the Collins Creek Tributary, along the southern edge of the picturesque Indian River Bay. Developed by award-winning Natelli Communities, Bay Forest offers luxurious resort homes set in a series of wooded neighborhoods linked by extensive nature trails and walking paths. During the summer months, a beach shuttle provides transportation to downtown Bethany Beach.
Bay Forest residents currently enjoy a world-class, 12,000-square-foot clubhouse with fitness center and grille, and a recreational pool designed with interactive features such as slides, water volleyball court and a lazy river. A second pool, designed primarily for adults, is heated and features a shallow-depth sunning ledge and a lap pool for exercise. A third pool for tots provides a full complement of swimming options for Bay Forest residents and their guests.
A community marina offers day slips, kayak and canoe launch, tennis center with four lit hard courts, sand pit volleyball, community fire pit, bocce ball, pickleball and horseshoe pits.
