May 7, 2024

The 39th Annual Bayhealth Foundation Dover Motor Speedway Golf Tournament raised $80,000 for the Bayhealth Cancer Institute.

The support from an enthusiastic turnout of participants, donors and sponsors exceeded expectations.

Bayhealth Foundation President Lindsay Rhodenbaugh, DMin, said, “We are thrilled by the success of this year’s spring golf tournament. The contributions will make a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families, as we continue our mission to provide exceptional care and support throughout their journey.”

Through clinical expertise and personalized care, the Bayhealth Cancer Institute team offers hope for a healthier future for every cancer patient. The institute’s survivorship program provides cancer patients and their caregivers a pathway after treatment. A team of nurse navigators compassionately guides patients through each step after a cancer diagnosis, aiding and supporting them in their journey to better health.

Bayhealth’s cancer programs have expanded in recent years to meet the growing needs of the community. Bayhealth offers genetic counseling and access to clinical research through its partnership with Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center.
