Bayhealth kicks off 2023 Go Pink! campaign with T-shirts

August 28, 2023

Bayhealth’s 18th annual Go Pink! breast cancer awareness and fundraising campaign is officially underway.

Community members can participate by purchasing a specially designed Go Pink! T-shirt for a donation of $20. The proceeds will fund breast cancer screenings for underserved populations, and help increase breast cancer awareness and education through both the Bayhealth Cancer Institute and the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

T-shirts can be purchased online at Bayhealth.org/Go-Pink-Shirt or at the community pharmacies at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent and Sussex campuses, while supplies last.

“I always enjoy when Go Pink! rolls around because our staff and community members really rally for this initiative, and their support truly saves lives,” said John Shevock, FACHE, FACMPE, Bayhealth Cancer Institute executive director and senior director of operations, oncology service line. “And with some exciting new Go Pink! initiatives added this year, our goal is to make an even bigger impact in 2023.”

In addition to selling T-shirts, the Bayhealth Cancer Institute is also partnering with the Bayhealth Foundation to host Go Pink at the Links Thursday, Sept. 21 at Heritage Shores Golf Course. Proceeds from the tournament will directly support the fight against breast cancer locally. To register, go to Bayhealth.org/Go-Pink-Links.
