Beebe Healthcare recognizes Ann Regacho with September L.O.V.E. Letter Award

Beebe Healthcare is proud to recognize Ann Regacho, BSW, a discharge planner working with Women's Health, as the September Living Our Values Every Day L.O.V.E. Letter Award recipient.

Last year, a task force of Beebe Healthcare team members met over multiple months to examine exceptional patient experiences and create a system of values, which every team member pledges to follow.

Beebe Healthcare team members have pledged to live these values every day. Patients and visitors at Beebe may see these value statements posted. They are invited to help team members be mindful of these values.

Regacho was nominated by Bridget Buckaloo, executive director of Women's Health.

Buckaloo observed Regacho working with a new mother and was amazed to see how she was able to coach this mother, who had both family issues and drug issues in her past. Regacho was able to help the new mother plan for her future and brought about some relief and closure on her family issues. Regacho showcased the Beebe values of doing it right the first time, treating each individual with respect and dignity, and building trusting relationships with compassion and kindness. Regacho was able to listen carefully and had the courage to communicate honestly and effectively. 

Jeffrey M. Fried, president and CEO of Beebe Healthcare, Rick Schaffner, executive vice president and COO of Beebe Healthcare, and Jeffrey Hawtof, MD, vice president of Medical Operations and Informatics, along with Buckaloo and Ellen Tolbert, director of Case Management, were on hand to make the presentation and congratulate Regacho.

Beebe Healthcare's L.O.V.E. Letter Recognition Program was established in 2015 and gives team members the opportunity to be recognized by their peers and supervisors for outstanding service. The program is similar to an employee of the month program. Team members are encouraged to send L.O.V.E. notes to other team members during the course of the month. A committee then evaluates the L.O.V.E. notes and selects one to receive the monthly L.O.V.E. Letter. Winners are announced in a surprise ceremony in which the committee visits the winner in his or her department and presents the award. Employees selected for the award receive:

• Parking space in the parking garage for one month
• $100 gift card donated by Fred and Lyndie Hertrich
• 100 points toward Beebe L.O.V.E. Notes Merchandise
• Letter of congratulations and personal visit from members of the executive team
• Their photo added to the L.O.V.E. Letter wall plaque
• Letter to team member's director and department recognition.
