Beebe to offer health screenings at 55+ Expo Nov. 4
The 7th Annual Delaware Resorts 55+ Expo will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 4, at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes. The event is free to the public, and all ages are welcome to attend.
Lead sponsor Beebe Healthcare will continue the expo’s tradition of offering five free health screenings as well as flu shots.
Additional sponsors are: Aquacare, Avery Hall Insurance Group, Baird Mandalas Brockstedt & Federico, Blue Rock Financial Group, Custom Fit 360, Coastal Bath, Delaware Retiree Connection, Delaware First Health and Orthopaedic Associates of Southern Delaware. Exhibitors include health and wellness firms, medical facilities and services, home healthcare agencies, lifestyle coaches, physical therapy providers, physical fitness programs, 55+ residential communities, Realtors, bankers, insurance and financial firms, volunteer organizations, and home product and service companies, all geared toward the 55+ community.
Many exhibitors will be offering expo specials, and giving away gifts and prizes.
Meals on Wheels Lewes-Rehoboth will again be the beneficiary. Representatives will be on hand to provide information on the organization’s valuable services and how people can help.
“Our fall home expo, recently held in September, was well attended despite the tropical storm. We look forward to giving visitors another opportunity to see a wide range of new products and services designed for the 55+ community,” said Kathy Benson, Delaware Resorts Expos founder and organizer.
