August 28, 2023

Beebe Medical Group announced the addition of primary care physician Trevor Aldred, MD, to Beebe Primary Care Cape Henlopen. To schedule an appointment, call 302-645-3332.

Aldred, a Lewes native and Cape Henlopen High School alumnus, sees patients of all ages for acute, chronic and preventive care, and is also trained to perform joint injections as well as dermatologic procedures and biopsies. Aldred’s earliest experiences at Beebe date back to 2014, when he served as a volunteer on the hospital’s perioperative care unit. In the years that followed, he served in various roles for community-based organizations with a focus on helping people and solving problems.

“These experiences inspired me to apply to medical school and ultimately pursue a career focused on primary care, with the opportunity to personally impact the lives of patients and families,” said Aldred. “I believe strongly that family is one of life’s greatest gifts.”

Aldred earned his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He went on to complete his family medicine residency at West Virginia University, where his practice focused on the delivery of comprehensive care for medically underserved patients. Aldred is also a graduate of the University of Delaware, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry.

He comes to Beebe Medical Group as one of many new doctors and advanced practice providers joining the team to provide more access to comprehensive primary care in Sussex County. The medical group includes 20-plus specialty offices in more than 40 office locations throughout Sussex County.
