Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gallo Realty welcomes Rick Chamberlin

August 9, 2017

Rick Chamberlin has joined the dynamic Beth Evans Team at the Bethany Beach office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Gallo Realty. Chamberlin has lived and worked in Sussex County since 1965, cultivating and honing his knowledge about the growing community. Recently retired from the Delaware State Police and the Indian River School District, he has served his community tirelessly in several capacities.

Chamberlin spent 29 years with the state police, achieving the rank of lieutenant. He also spent four years as a forensic interviewer with the Children's Advocacy Center of Delaware, helping abused children throughout the state, and an additional two and a half years with a Prison Re-Entry Program, assisting ex-convicts in adapting to community life and finding employment. Finally, he worked at Selbyville Middle School as a security/behavioral issues counselor.

"Rick's vast knowledge of the Sussex County region, coupled with his superlative communication skills and capacity to connect with people, will ensure his success in his second career," said Andrew Ratner, vice president of BHHS Gallo Realty. "The key to selling real estate is having superior knowledge of the market and excellent communication with clients and customers to achieve their desired outcome. Rick enjoys both of those qualities!"

Residing in Dagsboro with wife Shelly, Chamberlin enjoys music, sports, the beach, traveling and spending time with his three adult children and four grandchildren. He is looking forward to meeting people in his new line of work and helping them to achieve their house-hunting goals.

"I know the beach area quite well, and I hope to help my customers and clients to find the homes they've been dreaming about," said Chamberlin.

To contact Chamberlin, call 302-537-2616, or drop by the office at 33292 Coastal Highway, Bethany Beach.
