For the fourth consecutive year, Rehoboth Beach real estate agent Bill Cullin has earned the distinction of being Long & Foster’s Overall Top Agent for Delaware in 2023.

Cullin received his award Feb. 27 at the Chase Center in Wilmington during an awards ceremony for the company’s Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey offices.

It’s about answering phone calls, treating customers like family, and going out and earning it every day, said Cullin in an interview April 9.

“I enjoy working with people and guiding them through the process,” he said.

Cullin has been selling real estate since 2006. He said he did $27 million worth of business in 2023. In his words, the keys to his success have been, “making sure people are taken care of and taking that extra step.”

Jackie Thiel, president of Long & Foster Real Estate, said Long & Foster prides itself on the accomplishments of the company’s team of highly trained professionals.

“Our family of companies has a reputation of honesty, integrity and best-in-class customer service that spans more than 50 years. This year’s award winners are an integral part of why Long & Foster is the top real estate company in the Mid-Atlantic,” said Thiel in a prepared statement following the awards ceremony.

Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Cullin, who works as an individual agent, was the general manager of a car dealership. He said in his mid-50s, he decided he needed a change.

“I felt like I could do this and haven’t looked back since,” said Cullin, who credited his wife of 47 years, Irene, with supporting his career change nearly two decades ago. “She supported me from the beginning.”
