Blues win Del Shore Elementary Division championship

The Blues defeated the Greens 2-1 in the championship game of the Elementary Division of the Delaware Shore Field Hockey summer league.
Maci Steinwedel scored both goals for the Blues at 5:40 and 2:32. Kylee LaVere tallied the Greens’ only goal.
In the third-place game, Hannah Maney scored both goals to give the Reds the win over the Grays.
The Maroons earned fifth place in a 2-0 win over the Golds. Both goals came after the midpoint of the game with Hayden Hudson and Madeline Pepper getting the scores for the winners.
