Delaware Restaurant Association’s 8th Annual Bocce, Beer & Charity Tournament will be held Monday, Oct. 2, noon to 6 p.m., at Dogfish Head Craft Brewery, 6 Cannery Village, Milton.

Costumed teams composed of Delaware restaurant workers and local legislators will compete for bragging rights throughout the state, the Bocce Cup trophy, plus $1,000 awarded to the winning team's charity of choice. This spirited double-elimination tournament serves as an industry fundraiser, legislative reception, and charity fundraiser for the local community.

Competing teams include Grotto Pizza, Big Fish Restaurant, Kindle, Caffe Gelato, Fins, The Starboard, Pizza by Elizabeths, Kid Shelleen's, 2 Fat Guys, Restaurant 55, Buffalo Wild Wings and many more.

Local food vendors Grotto Pizza, Po' Boys Creole & Fresh Catch, Bethany Blues and the Roaming Raven food truck will be on hand to feed the hungry bocce players. Live music will be provided by 3CNorth. Prizes for best costume and overall tournament champions will be awarded.

Spectator tickets, $35, include all food and beer/craft spirits from Dogfish Head and are available at delawarerestaurant.org/2017draboccetournament.
