Breakfast with the mayor reservations due April 10

The Overfalls Foundation’s annual Breakfast with the Mayor event is set for 8:30 a.m., Saturday, April 13, at the Virden Center, 1155 College Drive, Lewes.

Honored guest Mayor Andrew Williams will share his vision for Lewes along with updates on various plans for the city.

Born and raised in Lewes, Williams was elected mayor in 2022. An alumnus of Dickinson College and Stanford Graduate School of Business, Williams is a director at GlobalData PLC, a business intelligence and data analysis firm.

The cost of the breakfast is $25 per person and includes gratuity. Donations are always welcome. The breakfast buffet will include eggs, French toast, breakfast meat, coffee and tea.

Reservations are required, and the deadline to RSVP is Wednesday, April 10. Cash and checks will be collected at the door.

The Overfalls Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, teaching and honoring the U.S. lightship service and the maritime history of the community through the preservation and display of the Lightship Overfalls (LV-118) and its collection of associated maritime artifacts.
