Cape Henlopen High School's Odyssey of the Mind team took home first place at the Ocean Tournament March 4. Team members Juan Marquez, Bailey Wingate, Nikita Patel, Evangeline Dillard, Anna Ives-Michener, Gabby Valunas and Luke Miller will head to the state competition Saturday, March 25.
They are also winners of the of the prestigious Ránatra Fusca Creativity Award. This highly coveted award represents the essence of the Odyssey of the Mind program. It is given to teams or individuals who display tremendous creativity, risk-taking and outside-the-box thinking at competition.
These talented students made art come to life...literally. Their coach Quinn Jacobs says she could not be more proud.
