Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford announces executive board

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford new executive board started 2017 off with a bang. They have already participated in three ribbon cuttings, welcomed 13 new members, and attended business mixers, sunrise seminars and the inaugural Economic Development Commission Workforce Development Forum. They assisted in the chamber’s move from 411 N. Rehoboth Blvd. to the Windsor Building at 24 NE Front St. in downtown Milford.

President Cheryl Doucette served as chamber vice president in 2016, when she also started her own business called ResourceLink Consulting. She is the chair of the chamber nominating committee and will serve two terms as chamber president.

Vice President Darel LaPrade is publisher of the Milford Chronicle and chair of the chamber ambassadors. He also serves on the chamber economic development commission.

Alicia Hollis is serving her third term as executive secretary. Hollis is director of community relations at Kent-Sussex Industries, and is the Riverwalk Freedom Festival Duck Dash co-chair.

Milford M&T Bank Vice President and Senior Branch Manager Christine Rust will serve her third term as chamber treasurer. She is also chair of the chamber donations and contributions committee, and volunteers at the annual Riverwalk Freedom Festival.
