March 21, 2017

Delaware native and longtime local chef Lee Stewart announced that he is now a certified ServSafe instructor and proctor. Stewart is offering on-site classes for the mandatory Manager and Food Handler classes with flexible scheduling.

Since selling his award-winning restaurant, Po'Boys Creole & Fresh Catch in 2014, Stewart has been busy co-developing and instructing the current Food Safety Program in conjunction with Delaware Tech at Sussex Department of Correction. He is also the instructor of the Adult Culinary Program at First State Community Action Agency, which not only equips students with culinary skills but also offers an internship with job placement.

With over 30 years of commercial kitchen experience, Stewart is excited about offering ServSafe courses and helping restaurants as well as other food service industry entities meet requirements and get ready for a busy summer season. For more information, email chefleestewart@gmail.com.
