Chef Paula Baker tapped to lead Greater Good Events
Greater Good Events recently announced that Paula Baker, Children’s Beach House culinary director, will lead the catering company through its next phase of growth.
Greater Good Events started in 2020 under the direction of Meghan Gardner, who left the role in October to serve as director of the Delaware Restaurant Foundation.
“It’s the perfect time to look at increasing the range of options we can offer as a caterer and as a venue,” said Richard Garrett, executive director at Children’s Beach House, which owns Greater Good Events and uses its profits to support children and families across Delaware. “With Chef Paula’s extensive training and deep knowledge of the industry, as well as her commitment to the community, she was a natural choice to lead Greater Good Events.”
Baker graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. Over the past 20 years, she has worked in banqueting, catering and independent restaurants across the Eastern Seaboard. She joined Children’s Beach House in 2014.
