Counselers in nontraditional setting welcoming new clients

Equine-assisted psychotherapy available at Lincoln farm
October 9, 2017

Courageous Hearts in Lincoln is accepting new clients. Three qualified therapists are available to provide traditional talk therapy or equine-assisted psychotherapy in an alternative, welcoming setting on a local farm.

Clients report a reduction in stress just from arriving on the property. Clients may explore their treatment goals either with or without horses. All activities are on the ground, and no horse knowledge is required for equine-assisted psychotherapy.

Issues addressed include: depression, anxiety, addictions, ADHD, relationships and trauma for ages 8 and older. Parent-child interactive treatment is available for ages 3-7.

Courageous Hearts has been providing quality psychotherapy in Sussex County since 2012. To schedule a confidential conversation regarding goals, call 302-593-1378 or go to www.courageoushearts.us.
