Dave Waters Memorial Golf Outing set Oct. 7

Jack Lingo Realtor is sponsoring The Dave Waters Memorial Golf Outing - Drive Away Hunger, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 7, at the American Classic Golf Club course in Lewes. The rain date will be Saturday, Oct. 14. 

Hosted by the Men’s Group of Epworth United Methodist Church, this annual tournament was renamed this year in memory of Dave Waters, who was a dedicated leader within the organization for many years. The outing benefits Epworth Food & Love Soup Kitchen, Food Pantry and Immanuel Shelter. Attendees are asked to bring a donation of canned goods to the event for the Good Samaritan Food Closet.  

Regarding the 2016 event, Dave Waters said, “We hope you will join us as a player, donor or both, for this fun and worthwhile day of golf, prizes, contests, lunch and silent auction. Together, we really can make a positive difference in driving hunger away from our beautiful beach communities.”
