It was my pleasure to attend the Delaware Student Shakespeare Festival hosted by Cape Henlopen High School.
The program featured exceptional student performers from several schools throughout the state.
Cape Henlopen was well represented by actors Sean Dorney, Hannah Faircloth, Aaron Latta Morissette and Lia Naselli, ably directed by Martha Pfeiffer.
The organization of such an event does not happen overnight.
It was apparent countless hours of preparation, rehearsal by students, coaching by teachers and parent support all done above and beyond the demands of already busy lives contributed to the event’s success.
For me, this was a clear demonstration of how to build an effective and supportive learning environment.
