Denise Harper joins 88.7 The Bridge in new role

WKNZ-FM, Harrington, 88.7 The Bridge, has announced longtime air personality Denise Harper is joining the staff in a newly formed full-time position. Harper will become senior director of content development and ministry services, overseeing all programming and online content, while also helping expand existing ministries and developing new ones through The Bridge of Hope Inc., the parent nonprofit corporation of 88.7 The Bridge radio station.

Harper started her broadcast career in 1991, working at WXPZ, Delaware's first Christian radio station, as an air personality and later as program director, operations manager and general manager. Since 2010, she has co-hosted The Morning Show on 88.7 The Bridge. She and her husband Ken have two children and live in Milford.

Radio station 88.7 The Bridge is a 25,000-watt non-commercial station with studios in Milford and transmitter facilities in Harrington. The station broadcasts contemporary Christian music and has won numerous awards including Station of the Year, Small Market, from the Christian Music Broadcasters Association, and Delaware Today's Best of Delaware - Best Radio Station for Music 2016 Readers' Pick Downstate.
