DIAA Girls’ Lacrosse Championship postponed

The DIAA Girls’ Lacrosse State Championship game between Cape Henlopen and Saint Mark’s scheduled for tonight, May 25, has been postponed due to forecasted thunderstorms. The game will now be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, at the Delaware Turf Sports Complex in Frederica. Admission to the game is $7.
DIAA officials have postponed all sports for May 25, including Sussex Tech’s softball quarterfinal game versus Delaware Military Academy. The Ravens are now set to play at 4 p.m., Friday, May 26.
Milford’s softball game at Appoquinimink will also be held May 26; however, the game time is contingent on Milford’s graduation. If graduation is held May 25, the game will be played at 4 p.m. If graduation does not occur, game time is 1 p.m.
