Don’t be disrespectful on our dime

September 29, 2017

You know it was the average person who finally stood up in the last election and voted in a man who had the guts to say what we were thinking. It is time for us to stand up and be heard again. To all you big-money team owners, to all you big-money television stations and all you big money NFL players, where do you think all your money comes from?

Us, the average Joe, and we can stop giving it to you if we want. This is not about free speech, cause frankly we don't care what you think but we do care about how our money is spent and who it is spent on. You don't get paid the outrageous amounts you get because we want to hear your political views or social commentary. We are paying you to play a game and we expect you to win. That is all.

And the entertainment community better listen too. I, and many others, have stopped watching movies and TV shows and award shows because we are sick of you and your comments. Just do what you get paid to do when I am paying for you to do it.

I would love to see the NFL collapse without our money to support it. Maybe some real players who love the game and appreciate the fans who pay them will take over. Stand up for our country, our flag, our national anthem and your fans. Use your free speech somewhere else. No one wants to stop you; we just don't want you doing it on our dime!
