Donna Kay Dodd, loved her family
Donna Kay Dodd, 69, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2024, peacefully in her home. Donna was born Aug. 6, 1954, to the late Ray and Hazel Dodd of Milton.
Donna grew up in Milton, working in her dad’s shop, Ray’s Market, one of which is King’s Homemade Ice Cream today. Donna was a waitress in Milford and she was a CNA before spending many years working at Rogers Graphics in Milford and Harbeson.
Donna will be dearly missed by her son, Richard Cook II; granddaughter, Emili Cook (Brian Duncan, Janelle, Jordyn, Brian Jr., Mariah Cook, Julian, Jeremiah and Jonah Duncan); granddaughter, Kayra Enger (Chris, Alexa and Mathilde Enger); brother, David R. Dodd (Dorothy); nephew, David H. Dodd (Lisa); niece, Jeanne Dodd Larotonda (Joe); many great- and great-great-nieces, nephews, and friends.
Donna loved her family and friends unconditionally, as well as her AA family. Donna enjoyed baking, watching HGTV, puzzles, mahjong, and the beach. She adored her granddaughter, Emili, and family. Donna’s favorite holiday was Christmas, and her favorite color is purple.
She is preceded in death by her beloved K-9 baby, Toby; her parents, Ray and Hazel Dodd; paternal grandparents, Warren and Amanda Dodd; and maternal grandparents, Harry and Leah Webb.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date at the request of the family.
