Eastern Sussex Democrats to meet April 4
Eastern Sussex Democrats will meet at 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, in the Lewes Public Library’s large meeting room. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. with a buffet dinner before the presentation. The cost is $25 per person for ESD members and $30 for nonmembers. Attendees can pay at the door or pay in advance at easternsussexdemocrats.com.
For the 2024 election season, the Eastern Sussex Democrats will be hosting appearances by many candidates in coming months.
The April 4 guest will be gubernatorial candidate Collin O'Mara, CEO of the National Wildlife Federation. Prior to NWF, O’Mara served as secretary of the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control from 2009-14 under Gov. Jack Markell.
A native of Syracuse, N.Y., O’Mara is a graduate of Dartmouth College (Presidential Scholar), Oxford University (Marshall Scholar) and the Maxwell School (University Fellow).
Eastern Sussex Democrats is an independent club focused on electing Democrats to office; advancing Democratic principles, policies and priorities that address social, racial and economic justice; and protecting the environment and conserving natural resources.
