Edward Peter Matushik, decorated veteran

April 24, 2018

Edward Peter Matushik, 94, died peacefully in his sleep at The Moorings at Lewes Friday, April 20, 2018. Ed was born in Scranton, Pa., to Peter and Cecelia Matushik Sept. 28, 1923.

Ed is survived by his daughter, Diane M. Kracher of White Hall, Md.; his grandchildren Nicholas Kracher of Conshohocken, Pa., Megan Madison and Morgan Matushik, both of Delaware, and Bethany Matushik of Florida; and great-grandson Dominic Dillon of Delaware. Ed was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Theresa; children: Adrienne, Mark, David and Paul; and his grandson, David Michael.
