Nearly 2,000 visitors attend two-day event
April 13, 2024

Chilly morning temperatures didn’t keep Delaware Resorts Home Expo visitors away April 6, as they lined up at the Cape Henlopen High School entrance for the 9 a.m. opening.

Nearly a hundred exhibitors were kept very busy all day Saturday and Sunday, with an estimated 2,000 visitors in attendance. The expo affords exhibitors and visitors a town-square atmosphere, as Home Expo founder and coordinator Kathy Benson works to include a wide array of home-related goods and services.

Also represented at the event were nonprofits including area veterans associations and Sussex County Habitat for Humanity, the Home Expo proceeds beneficiary.

“All of the exhibitors were very happy with the visitor turnout, and the convenient and professional environment afforded by the Cape Henlopen High School facility,” said Benson.
