Fannie Bell Frazier, adored children

Fannie Bell Frazier, 77, of Milford, departed this life Friday, July 22, 2016, at Bayhealth Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford.

Fannie was born in Kingstree, S.C., July 28, 1938, to the late William B. and Mary Jane Snowden. She was the fourth of 11 siblings. As a young child or sharecroppers, she worked hard on the farm. She was known to work the hardest out of her siblings. She went to Blakely Junior High School in Williamsburg County, S.C.
She was united in marriage to Clyde Kenneth Frazier Sr., Sept. 7, 1958, in Milford, and remained together from that day forward. When the Frazier family moved to Delaware, they attended the Pentecostal Church of God in Lincoln during the 1960s and late '70s. She was baptized at Pentecostal Church also.
Fannie Frazier was a loving, caring early childhood teacher for over 40 years. She truly loved and adored her kids/grandchildren and kids in the community as well as outside the community. Some of the hobbies that she enjoyed eres cooking and gardening. Fannie was a wonderful and patient woman who always made time to prepare a meal for anyone who stopped by. She loved being around people that made her laugh and smile. Every time she saw a friend or family member, she would always share a moment of something that happened in the past. She would start off saying, "Do you remember...?"
She had a sweet, calm spirit that would always fill the room with her smile and laughter. She was also known as a fashionista. Everyone adored her style of dress from her hat to her shoes.
Her favorite scripture was Psalm 23. And, she loved the Lord. She was a praying warrior.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Jane Snowden (McCray), and father William B. Snowden; sisters: Hattie Byas, Henrietta Snowden, Mary Alice Snowden, Audrey Burgess, Dottie Snowden, Gertis Snowden. She leaves to treasure her loving memory her husband of 57 years, Clyde Kenneth Frazier Sr.; children Claudetta Frazier of Milford, Sandra Frazier of Smyrna, Michael (Juanita) Frazier of Bridgeville, Clyde K. Frazier Jr. of Milford, Shenequa a.k.a Nikki (Eric) Bordley of Wyoming, and Tonya Frazier of Wilmington; two sisters Dora Snowden of Ellendale and Jannie Mifflin of Ellendale; two brothers, Jerome (Barbara) Snowden of Ellendale and Mitchell Snowden of San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren, Misha, Kaysha, Jordan, and Cameron; two great-grandchildren, Angel, and Michael; four stepgrandchildren, La'Shawnda, Edward, Chaylene, and Juanita; six stepgreat-grandchildren, Izaiah, Ja'leya, Ja'niya, Dartez, Paul, and Edward Jr.; and a multitude of adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, July 30, at Calvary Baptist Church 4752 Forrest Ave., Dover, at 11 a.m., and family and friends may visit two hours prior.
