Free live performance of ‘Peter Pan’ set in Lewes Canalfront Park Aug. 17

August 13, 2017

Friends of Lewes Canalfront Park, with generous support from the Dagesse family and the Lewes Beach Dairy Queen, announced that the Rehoboth Summer Children's Theatre will stage a clever and fun-filled performance of "Peter Pan" in the park at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 17.

The entire family will enjoy the show. Attendees may bring blankets or lawn chairs and maybe a picnic dinner. The park is at 211 Front St. on the banks of the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal in Historic Lewes.

In the timeless classic of youthful joy by J.M. Barrie, the free-spirited and mischievous Peter Pan and sidekick Tinker Bell lead the Darling children to the mythical island of Neverland. Along with Peter's band of Lost Boys, they encounter pirates, mermaids, natives and a ticking crocodile on an amazing adventure they will treasure forever.
