Free shredding offered in Rehoboth Beach May 4

April 26, 2018

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Wilmington Savings Fund Society, will host a shredding event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, May 4, with a rain date of Friday, May 11. The community is invited to bring used paper for shredding at the WSFS Bank parking lot at 19335 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach.

To enter the back of the WSFS parking lot for shredding, drivers should turn at Walgreens onto Munchy Branch Road, then turn right onto Seaside Boulevard, and then follow the posted arrows.

Attendees will be able to reduce their carbon footprint with free shredding fun. There is no charge, but donations are welcome to benefit the RBDBCC event fund.

Any paper-based, printed material can be shredded, as can X-rays and more. Staples, rubber bands, folders and paper clips do not need to be removed before shredding. Materials must be removed from three-ring binders and bags prior to shredding.

For more information, call the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce at 302-227-6446 or go to www.beach-fun.com.
