Georgetown Arts & Flowers honors student art show winners
Georgetown Arts & Flowers recently held a ceremony to honor the 2024 winners of its children’s art show. The show and reception were held at the Georgetown Public Library.
For their support and dedication to the arts, special thanks go to teachers Michelle Fox of Georgetown Elementary, Kimberly Raschdorf of Sussex Academy, Shivawn Duggan of Georgetown Middle and Jessica Vandrunnen of North Georgetown Elementary.
Honorees for grades K-1-2 are: first place, Odette Frankum, second grade, Sussex Academy; second place, Alondra Nunez Perez, second grade, North Georgetown Elementary; and third place, Annsley Bowden, kindergarten, North Georgetown Elementary.
Awardees for grades 3-4-5 are: first place, David Zuniga, fourth grade, Georgetown Elementary; second place: Estefany Velasquez Moralez, fourth grade, North Georgetown Elementary; and third place, Brody Pegelow, fifth grade, Sussex Academy.
Grades 6-7-8 winners are: first place, Grace Sweeten, eighth Grade, Sussex Academy; second place, Yanisley Velasquez-Borrayes, eighth grade, Sussex Academy; and third place, Sophia Greenburg, sixth grade, Sussex Academy.
Receiving honorable mention awards are: Georgetown Middle students Francisca Lobos, Ann Lopez Perez and Preston Arney; North Georgetown students Zeida Perez and Cindy Martin; Sussex Academy students Aiden Stegall, Sam Piper, Ryan Landroudi and Eva Patel: and Georgetown Elementary students Kylee Gravenor and Claudia Perez Ramirez.
