Georgetown Chamber inducts new officers

December 4, 2017

The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce inducted its new officers at a luncheon Nov. 15 at the CHEER Community Center in Georgetown. Keynote speaker at the luncheon was Georgetown Mayor Bill West.

West talked to the chamber about the state of Georgetown. He brought up the infrastructure updates, the sports fields, the updated sewers, and the new town hall due to be completed in December. West said that there have been 44 new businesses in town since he has been in office. Georgetown even has a Starbucks coming.

West went on to say that he has a goal of creating a cancer center to better serve western Sussex County.
