VIA gifts add a little happy to the holidays

The Village Improvement Association Home Life Committee spent the week before Christmas delivering individual bags of presents and edibles to Cape Region homeless and foster teens, as well as to seniors in local assisted living facilities who might not have family visiting.
Funding for this very special project was raised at a pizza party held at the VIA Clubhouse Dec. 8. The function provided a little holiday cheer for almost 30 teens and 30 local elderly residents. Joanne DeFiore and Nancy Barlow were holiday gift-giving co-chairs.
