Inspired by a Song exhibit to open March 14 in Milton

“Tree Museum” by Sue Marano, is inspired by lyrics from Joni Mitchell’s “Big Yellow Taxi.”
Milton Arts Guild’s new exhibit, Inspired by a Song, will open Thursday, March 14, at 107 Federal St., Milton, featuring artists’ interpretations of their favorite song’s title or lyrics.
Exhibit artwork will be judged by Kurt Plinke of Sewell Mills Studio and Gallery in Greensboro, Md. His choices for the best of the best will be announced during a public reception set for 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, March 17, where visitors may view the artwork and talk with some of the artists.
Inspired by a Song will remain on display through Tuesday, April 23.
The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
