The James H. Groves Adult High School held its 52nd Annual Graduation Ceremony Aug. 10 at Delmarva Christian High School. U.S. Congressman John Carney was the evening's speaker.

The James H. Groves High School in Sussex County is administered by the Sussex Technical School District. In his remarks, Carney congratulated the graduates on completing their long journey culminating in the receipt of their high school diplomas. Carney went on to say that this was just one step in the journey and new challenges lie ahead for each graduate but their accomplishments demonstrate each student is up for the challenge.

"Delaware needs you. The world needs you," said Carney as he encouraged students to continue on the successful path they have followed leading to receipt of their high school diploma.
