Jimmie’s Chicken Shack musician to play concert March 22
Tickets are now available for a show by Jimi Davies (Jimi HaHa) of Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, who will perform at 6:30 p.m., Friday, March 22, at The Room at Cedar Grove, 32882 Cedar Grove Road, Lewes.
Davies is well known for his powerful vocals and a blend of rock, funk and reggae. He cultivated a fan base with Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, founded in 1992 in Annapolis, Md. The songwriter is also a guitar player and singer for the Jarflys.
Local musician Paul Cullen will be the special guest.
Tickets are $39 and include dinner. Beverages are available for purchase.
Tickets are still available for the Sol Roots Trio show set for 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 23. The band performs a mix of raw funk, blues, rock, soul and hypnotic grooves. The fee is $45 and includes dinner.
Scott Tournet, founding member of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, will take the stage at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 28. Tournet, who is also the frontman for Elektric Voodoo, has written and recorded with Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney and Alison Krauss. Tickets are $35 and include dinner.
Dylan Zangwill, who wowed audiences on “America’s Got Talent” and “American Idol,” will perform at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 30. The $25 ticket includes charcuterie, pizza and salad.
Paul Cullen will join the Fitzkee Brothers for an old-school brunch jam at 11 a.m., Sunday, March 31. Tickets are $35.
All event proceeds benefit the charity Paul Kares, which supports aspiring performers and culinary artists.
