Jurors' exhibition review set at Rehoboth Art League Jan. 13

As part of the Rehoboth Art League's current show, The Second Annual Juried Coastal Camera Club Members' Exhibition, jurors and judges Sally Packard and Dinah Reath will present an exhibition review at 4 p.m., Friday, Jan. 13. Packard and Reath reviewed 100 photographs by 23 artists and ultimately selected 26 exhibition works for display. Many of the images in this exhibition were taken on travels, and include both haunting and expansive landscapes. Impressive still lifes and seductive figurative works were also chosen. A jurors' Best in Show Award was presented at the opening reception to Brook Hedge for her work, "Free Form."

Both artists and art appreciators will find this event fascinating. The jurors will discuss the jurying process as well as why certain images were chosen for the exhibition. Ultimately patrons will discover what features, in the eyes of the jurors, go into making a successful photograph.
