The Keenote Chorale singers presented their annual spring musical, Living in the ‘60s, a decade of music and change, April 7 on the stage at The Crossings Church. Debbie Kee, owner and director, created a slide show as a backdrop which accompanied the songs and dances from 1960 thru 1969.
The singers wore the tie-dyed shirts they made along with other props. “The Twist,” “Surfin’ USA,” “Wild Thing” and “Locomotion” were just few of the dance songs. As the chorale is an a cappella group, songs like “Hound Dog,” “It's My Party,” “Monster Mash,” “California Dreamin’,” “Kumbaya” and many more popular and familiar songs were presented in their own voices.
