KSI has fun raising funds for United Way campaign

KSI is a United Way partner agency realizing the value of statewide partners. Not only does a volunteer committee allocate funds to KSI on behalf of United Way, but donors can also choose to donate directly to KSI by designating KSI's agency number, 340. In addition to payroll deductions and one-time donations, staff have organized some fun activities to raise funds for United Way. KSI's goal is to reach $5,500.

A penny war between two teams of staff members is resulting in lots of donated pennies, and some sabotage techniques, within game guidelines, to see which team raises the most money. A silent auction bake sale also drove some competition among co-workers. Who will outbid who on whose signature baked goods? Staff that paid $5 were able to work one day in casual wear. All monies collected will be donated to United Way of Delaware on behalf of KSI.
