LaTice Klapa to headline night of comedy at Milton Theatre June 3

May 26, 2017

It will be a wild night of hilarity at the historic Milton Theatre as the new stand-up comedy show will be headlined by LaTice Klapa, with Lonnie Webb opening the show at 8 p.m., Saturday, June 3. Klapa was born and raised in the suburbs of South Jersey and has turned the challenges of being black in a white neighborhood into comedy. Her conversational style makes audience members feel like they are in her living room laughing about interracial marriage, being a parent and her day-to-day encounters. With her zest for life and positive energy, Klapa will pull the audience right into her world the minute she steps on stage. She has crowds laughing out loud until she says goodnight.

Klapa is currently on "Funny or Die" in a comedy short called "For Starters." She has made multiple television appearances including ABC's "The View" for the Hilarious Housewives segment.

Tickets are $10- $5. The theater is at 110 Union St. along the Broadkill River in downtown Milton. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to www.MiltonTheatre.com, call 302-684-3038 or buy them at the door.
