Cinema by the Canal will present the animated Disney hit "Brave" at dusk, Thursday Aug.10, in Lewes Canalfront Park. The movie is free thanks to the support of Citizens Bank and Friends of Lewes Canalfront Park.

"Brave," a rousing fantasy adventure, follows Princess Merida, the impetuous but brave daughter of Scottish royalty. She is a skilled archer who wants to carve out her own path in life, but her defiance of an age-old tradition leads to chaos in the kingdom. Merida seeks help from an eccentric witch who grants her an ill-fated wish. Now, Merida must discover the true meaning of courage and undo a beastly curse before it's too late.

Attendees may bring blankets or lawn chairs. For more information, call 302-645-2795 or go to www.lewescanalfrontpark.org.
