Lewes educational consultant to speak at national autism conference June 14-15

Lewes educational consultant William Lane, EdD, will be among 170 speakers presenting at the 2018 Milestones National Autism Conference set for Thursday-Friday, June 14-15, in Cleveland, Ohio.

In his session, Improving Communication Skills...Improving Socialization Skills, Lane will discuss the importance of improving communication and social skills in order for individuals with autism to become more engaged and contributing members to family, friends and society.

Self-diagnosed with autism, Lane is one of 13 individuals living on the spectrum to be presenting at this year’s conference, and he will share his personal experiences and challenges while describing examples of specific communication difficulties that impact individuals with ASD.

The two-day event showcases practical and evidence-based strategies for professionals, family members and individuals affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.
