Lewes Lions Club members gathered Nov. 11 at Lloyd’s Market in Lewes to collect donations for the Cape Henlopen Food Basket.
Lion Sue Lehman donated two canes which came from Vietnam and belonged to her late husband, Kenny Lehman. Veterans there that day placed their name in a basket and the winners whose names were drawn received the canes.
Organizers extend thanks to all community members who donated food.
