Man shot following altercation near Millsboro
A 30-year-old man was injured Nov. 10 following a shooting near Millsboro.
Delaware State Police responded at 1:30 p.m. to the 25000 block of Oak Street for a shooting and found a Millsboro man suffering from a gunshot wound to his left thigh, said Sr. Cpl. Leonard DeMalto of the Delaware State Police.
Police learned an unknown man shot the victim during an altercation, but the motive remains unknown. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of the wound. No one else was harmed in this incident.
The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this case. Troopers ask anyone who witnessed this incident to contact Detective P. LaPlaca at 302-856-5850.
