Mediacom adds free international calling to its most popular triple-play service

September 27, 2016

Mediacom announced it added a new 30-minute international calling feature to its Xtream triple-play service, a change that comes at no additional cost and offers customers the ability to save money while calling popular international destinations.

Beginning Saturday, Oct. 1, all Mediacom Xtream customers will automatically receive 30 minutes of free international calling each month. The changes allow Xtream customers to place calls directly from their home phone to mobile and landline phones in 67 countries representing nearly two-thirds of the world's population.

"In today's interconnected world, people have more business contacts, family and friends spanning the globe than ever before. We want to make it easy and affordable for our customers to stay in touch with people around the world," said Mediacom Senior Vice President of Field Operations Ed Pardini. "International calling can get pretty expensive in a hurry, and offering free international calling is another way Mediacom Phone saves people money."

In addition to giving Xtream customers 30 minutes of free international calling per month, two new WorldTalk plans are available as options for Mediacom phone customers who want more international calling time. WorldTalk 200 offers 200 minutes per month of direct calling to mobile and landline phones in 67 countries. WorldTalk 250 offers 250 minutes of direct calling to mobile and landline phones and reaches 87 countries.
