Milford Boy Scouts hike 80 miles at New Mexico ranch

A group of Boy Scouts from Troop 186 of Avenue United Methodist Church in Milford traveled to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. Stopping in Denver to get acclimated to the elevation, they arrived at Philmont June 22 and returned July 4.
The boys hiked the trails for a total of approximately 80 miles while carrying all their gear and food in their backpacks.
