Millsboro man charged with eighth DUI

A 55-year-old Millsboro man has been arrested for his eighth DUI.
Millsboro police received a call from a concerned citizen at 3:40 p.m., Aug. 21, about a possible intoxicated driver at the Arby’s restaurant on Route 113. Responding officers found the vehicle running with Terence Wise seated in the driver’s seat. They detected a strong odor of alcohol, and officers also observed several other signs of impairment.
Wise was arrested without incident and charged with his eighth DUI, a felony, and driving without a valid driver’s license. He was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of a $20,100 cash bond.
