Milton 9-10 All-Stars defeat Lewes/Rehoboth10-2

Milton advances in winners bracket

Gage Joseph slammed two doubles, a single and had a walk with four RBIs to lead the Milton 9-10 All-Stars past the Lewes/Rehoboth team 10-2 June 28 at the Millsboro Little League Complex. Milton advanced in the winners bracket, while Rehoboth/Lewes dropped to the bottom bracket to see if they can move back to the top.

Milton’s Tyler Jacona pitched four innings of one-hit ball, giving up one run and putting five batters in the book via the strikeout. He also helped himself out at the plate with two doubles in the game. Milton had 13 hits in the contest to Lewes/Rehoboth’s four with Bryce Dominick and Jase Mitchell each picking up RBIs for the visitors.

Milton scored two in the first inning and didn’t look back, adding three in the third and fourth innings. They scored one in each of the fifth and sixth before Lewes/Rehoboth added their second run in the sixth.

Brian Fleming, Trent Kauffman, Barritt Ross and Jaxon Clampitt each had one hit for Lewes/Rehoboth with Ross and Kaufman picking up two RBIs.
