Milton Arts Guild seeks Do More 24 donations March 7-8

February 26, 2024

For the second year, Milton Arts Guild will be participating in Do More 24 Delaware, a statewide campaign to raise funds for worthy nonprofit organizations.

To donate during Do More 24, go to domore24delaware.org/fundraisers/milton-arts-guild between 6 p.m., Thursday, March 7 and Friday, March 8.

During the last year, the all-volunteer guild members have: increased class offerings by as 75%; developed a children’s arts program in collaboration with Children’s Beach House; offered ongoing, monthly Saturday art classes to kids in grades 5-8; provided a college scholarship to a deserving Cape Henlopen High School student; inspired the community to produce thousands of artistic heart-inspired greetings for distribution to patients at Bayhealth’s two inpatient campuses; and initiated a diversity program to encourage and engage artists of all races, cultures and communities.

“We are delighted to be a part of DoMore24Delaware again this year,” said Sue Dutton, MAG board of directors president. “Our volunteer members have achieved so much in the past year and have even greater aspirations for the coming year. Do More 24 Delaware will provide us with a much needed and appreciated influx of funds to support our growth. As always, we are so grateful to all those who continue to generously support our mission.”

Located in historic downtown Milton, the arts guild celebrates creativity in all forms of visual arts by engaging the community through an array of educational opportunities, events, exhibits and benevolent programs. For more information, go to miltonartsguild.org.
